Οπλισμένοι με ένα σφυρί, δέσμες ξύλου θραυσμάτων και κάποιες απότομες δεξιότητες του DIY, ένας άνθρωπος έλεγε πώς πήγε για να χτίσει το δικό του houseboat πριν τον πετάξει από το Αμβούργο στο Παρίσι.

Οι φωτογραφίες και το βίντεο που χρονοτριβεί δείχνουν πως ο Claudius Schulze, 33 ετών, από το Αμβούργο της Γερμανίας , χτύπησε το υδατογενές σπίτι του από ανακυκλωμένα υλικά και το είχε ταξιδέψει εκατοντάδες μίλια στο Παρίσι.

Σε μια σκηνή το περίεργο σκάφος - το οποίο κοστίζει £ 6.500 για να χτίσει συνολικά - θεωρείται ότι έχει ληφθεί 124 πόδια στον αέρα σε ένα ανελκυστήρα πλοίων και σε άλλο κλιπ μπαίνει σε μια κλειδαριά στο κανάλι καθώς το νερό αναβλύζει μέσω υδροφορέων.

Above, a cat appears to be enjoying the living room On the design front, Schulze decked the boat out with large glass windows so passengers can admire the watery views The houseboat features an outside deck complete with a hammock, disco ball and a soap bubble machine In one scene the quirky boat - which cost £6,500 to build in total - is seen entering a canal lock as water gushes through sluices The boat was built from scratch in Hamburg and Schulze describes it as a 'catamaran with floaters' When he's travelling, Schulze says he sleeps on the boat. It is fully equipped with a kitchen and a large bed and a sleeping couch Schulze decided to put a hammock in place of the traditional captain's chair The houseboat is adorned with solar panels on the roof to gather energy for electricity Schulze likes to host get-togethers on his boat, with the dining area proving to be the perfect size Photographs show the houseboat in its various design stages With no prior boat-building experience, the project seemed far-fetched when he began with the construction in March 2016 After the basic shell was put together on dry land, the final stages of the build was completed on the water Schulze looks out into the distance as the sun sets to leave a cloudy night sky With the help of skilled friends, Schulze made his boating dreams come true
